Carlos Ramirez
Carlos has been working in the veterinary field since 2006, bringing a strong foundation of knowledge, skill, and compassion to every aspect of his role. Originally from Peru, he moved to the U.S. in 2002 and quickly found his calling in veterinary medicine. Over the years, his passion for animal care and dedication to helping people and pets alike has only grown. In 2014, he transitioned into a management position, and in 2022, he proudly joined the team at TAC as Clinic Manager.
With nearly 20 years of experience, including time in emergency medicine, Carlos has developed a well-rounded understanding of the veterinary field. He’s especially passionate about educating both clients and staff—ensuring that animals receive the best care possible through shared knowledge and best practices. He also enjoys the technical side of the job, finding satisfaction in hands-on tasks like drawing blood, placing IV catheters, and caring for hospitalized patients.
As a leader, Carlos brings a calm, knowledgeable presence to the clinic, fostering a team environment built on respect, collaboration, and continuous improvement. His ability to connect with both people and animals makes him a vital part of the TAC family.
When he's not at work, you’ll likely find him enjoying a good soccer match—either on the field or cheering from the sidelines. He’s also a big fan of movies, video games, comic books, and is an avid action figure collector. Most of all, he values spending time with his family.
Technicians
Victoria (LVT) Lead Technician
Ever since Victoria was little, she has had a passion for working with animals and pursuing a career in marine life or biology. In 2009, she enlisted in the US Army and was deployed to Kunar Province, Afghanistan, at Camp Blessing in 2010. After leaving the military in 2014, Victoria decided to pursue her dream in veterinary medicine. In 2015, she began her journey as a kennel technician and later enrolled in the Veterinary Technician Program at LSC-Tomball, graduating in 2019. Since graduating, she has gained extensive experience in various areas of veterinary care, including Dentistry, Surgery, Emergency, and General Practice. Victoria’s specific interests are Clinical Pathology, Patient Care, and Client Education. Her favorite patients to work with include aggressive small breeds, brachycephalics, and avians. In 2022, Victoria joined Thomas Animal Clinic, where she continues to provide high-quality care to her patients.
Victoria has been happily married for 14 years to her husband and is a proud mother to three boys, all of whom share a special interest in baseball. When she's not playing baseball with her sons or keeping up with their busy sports schedules, Victoria enjoys staying active by exercising and keeping up with the latest in reality television.At home, she shares her life with a dog named Heart, a cat named Sasha, a bearded dragon named Hermes, three aquariums, and five chickens.
Brittney
Brittney has been a valued member of our team since 2020, but her journey in veterinary medicine began in 2016. She started as a receptionist, where her love for animals quickly grew into a passion for veterinary care. In 2020, Brittney pursued her dream of becoming a veterinary technician, and she has been dedicated to providing exceptional care ever since. Her primary interests include caring for exotics and assisting in surgeries, with a special focus on working with scared or aggressive patients to ensure they have the best experience possible. In addition to her work in a full-service clinic, Brittney proudly opened her own pet-sitting business, where she extends her love for animals beyond the clinic walls, offering personalized care to pets in their own homes.
Outside of her professional life, Brittney enjoys building her homestead, riding her horse, Ollie, and fishing in her free time. Her household is a lively one, shared with three energetic miniature Aussies—Stetson, River, and Haven—as well as a lovable pit bull named Tater Tot. Brittney also shares her home with two pampered cats, Moo and Venom, who keep her on her toes. With a full house of her own, Brittney deeply understands the importance of compassionate care for pets, and she is committed to providing the highest level of attention and affection, whether for her own animals or yours.
Cori
Cori began her journey with our team in 2022 as a receptionist, quickly showing her dedication and passion for animal care. Driven by her ambition to become a licensed veterinary technician, she transitioned into a technician role. One of Cori’s greatest joys in her work is caring for kittens, and she finds fulfillment in providing them with the attention and comfort they need during their early stages of life.
With a strong background in animal behavior and dog training, Cori brings valuable specialized knowledge to our clinic, enhancing our ability to address a variety of behavioral issues and promote overall animal welfare. Her commitment to animal care goes beyond her professional role; she consistently strives to deepen her understanding of veterinary practices to better serve the animals she cares for.
Outside of her work, Cori is a devoted mother to two children and takes pride in her role as a caretaker of a diverse animal family. Her household includes three dogs, a tortoise, and a lively group of chickens, reflecting her deep love for animals. When she’s not at the clinic or spending time with her family, Cori enjoys quality time outdoors, whether it’s family outings, fishing, or indulging in her passion for horseback riding.
Maggie
Maggie, an experienced veterinary technician with over 20 years in the field, joined our team in 2023. Throughout her extensive career, she has developed a strong passion for providing high-quality care to animals, with a special interest in cardiology. Her deep knowledge and commitment to the health and well-being of her patients have earned her respect in the veterinary community. Over the years, she has honed her skills in a variety of clinical settings, allowing her to offer expert care and attention to every animal she treats.
Outside of work, Maggie is a devoted pet parent. She shares her life with two sweet pit bulls, Darla and Nala, an English bulldog named Gizmo, a turkey named Bruce, two pigs, and three cats, creating a lively and loving household.
When she’s not caring for animals or spending time with her own, Maggie enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including hunting and fishing. Above all, she values spending quality time with her daughter, making family a central part of her life.
Jessica
Jessica, who joined our team in 2023, has been a dedicated and compassionate veterinary technician since 2014, with a deep commitment to the care and well-being of animals. In 2017, Jessica graduated from LSC-Tomball with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology, where she honed her skills and knowledge in animal care, making her a trusted professional in the field. Her expertise spans a wide range of animal care, but Jessica has developed a particular passion for working with exotics, especially rabbits and birds.
Beyond her work in veterinary medicine, Jessica is also actively involved in her family-owned HVAC business, where she plays an essential role in operations and management. Her diverse professional background has allowed her to develop a strong skill set in both animal care and business management, further reflecting her commitment to balancing her passions for both industries.
At home, Jessica shares her life with Bonita, her beloved German Shepherd mix, who brings her joy and companionship. When she's not caring for animals or working on business projects, Jessica enjoys unwinding by watching her favorite television shows and spending quality time with her boyfriend, Antonio.
Kristen (LVT)
Kristen graduated from LSC-Tomball in 2021 with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology and became a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) the same year. Throughout her career, she has gained valuable experience in a variety of veterinary settings, developing a passion for caring for animals of all kinds, including exotics. Kristen has worked extensively in intensive care units (ICU), where she has honed her skills in providing critical care and monitoring patients through their recovery.
Outside of her professional life, Kristen finds fulfillment in her personal hobbies. She enjoys gardening, where she can unwind and connect with nature, and she loves to read. When she’s not outside or reading, she can often be found indulging in her favorite video games or adding to her growing collection of rocks, which she finds both soothing and fascinating. She is also a devoted pet owner and shares her home with her beloved dog, Trigger, and her cat, Lucyfer. Kristen began working at Thomas Animal Clinic in 2023, where she has continued to excel in providing top-notch care to her patients and build lasting relationships with clients.
Chris
Chris has been a dedicated professional in the veterinary field since 2011. Joining our team in 2020, Chris has a particular passion for educating clients to help them provide the best care for their pets. He finds great satisfaction in empowering pet owners with the knowledge they need to ensure their pets lead healthy, happy lives.
Chris is married to his wife, Veronica, and together they have two children, Chris Jr. and Noel. Though he doesn't have any pets of his own, Chris deeply appreciates the opportunity to care for the animals at the clinic, considering them part of his extended family.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys adding to his Hot Wheels collection, spending quality time outdoors with his kids, and reading comics.
Receptionists
Skyeleigh
Upon entering Thomas Animal Clinic, you’ll be warmly welcomed by the friendly face of Skyeleigh, who has been with us since our grand opening. After graduating from Calhoun High School in 2011, she spent several years teaching in both public and private schools, where she developed a strong passion for working with children—a passion that now extends to caring for animals and supporting pet owners. In December 2019, Skyeleigh earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Houston. Her background in psychology helps her connect with clients and pets alike, making her a calming and helpful presence in the clinic.
Outside of her role at Thomas Animal Clinic, Skyeleigh helps manage Fit Kitchen, a local business she runs with her significant other. They share their home with a beloved cat named Scoop. In her free time, Skyeleigh enjoys dancing, traveling to new places, and creating memories with friends and family. Whether she’s assisting clients at the front desk or supporting her team behind the scenes, she is dedicated to making every visit a positive experience for pets and their families.
Diana
From the time she was a little girl glued to Animal Planet, Diana has always had a heart for animals. Known among friends and family as “St. Francis” for her habit of rescuing and bringing home stray animals, her passion for animal care only deepened over the years.
In high school, she volunteered at local animal shelters and was actively involved in FFA, planting the roots for a lifelong connection to animal welfare. While studying at HCC, she began pet sitting in 2018—a side hustle that quickly turned into a fulfilling six-year journey of caring for pets and supporting their families.
She joined our team in 2024, bringing with her a strong foundation in compassionate care and a growing interest in pharmaceuticals within the veterinary field. Whether she’s helping clients over the phone or learning more about how medications can improve animal health, she’s always eager to make a positive impact. Outside of work, you can find her playing soccer or volleyball with her husband, toddler, and their spirited dog, Penguin. Rain or shine, she loves going for walks and soaking in the outdoors with her little crew.
Lupe
Lupe has always had a deep passion for animals, which inspired her to begin her veterinary career in 2015, shortly after graduating high school. She started as a kennel technician and, through hard work and dedication, worked her way up to her current role as a Client Service Representative. Lupe joined our team in April of 2024, bringing with her nearly a decade of experience in both general practice and emergency veterinary care. Her well-rounded background allows her to provide exceptional support to both clients and team members, ensuring every visit is as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Outside of work, Lupe cherishes spending quality time with her family and her two beloved fur babies, Nina and Sasha. Her warm personality and genuine love for animals make her a welcoming presence at the front desk and an essential part of our team.
Tech Assistants
Brooke
Brooke graduated from high school in 2022, where she was actively involved in FFA, basketball, and softball. Her lifelong passion for animals has driven her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She joined our team in 2023 and has been a valued part of the clinic ever since. Currently, she is enrolled at LSC-Tomball, working toward her Associate of Applied Science degree with the goal of becoming a Diagnostic Sonographer in the veterinary field. Brooke has a particular fascination with surgeries, which continues to inspire and shape her professional path.
Outside of her academic pursuits, Brooke enjoys crocheting, playing Minecraft, and exploring antique shops. She also loves spending quality time with her two beloved cats, Chloe and Squid. With her curiosity, dedication, and love for animals, Brooke is excited to continue growing in the veterinary field and making a difference in the lives of pets and their people.
Jordan
Jordan began her journey with us as an intern in 2020, quickly demonstrating her dedication and passion for veterinary care. Her commitment was solidified when she earned her Certified Veterinary Assistant (CVA) Level 1 certification in May 2021. After graduating from high school in the spring of 2021, she returned to our team in October of that year and continued to grow both personally and professionally.
Jordan earned her Associate of Science degree from Lone Star College in the fall of 2022 and is now a senior at Sam Houston State University. She’s pursuing a degree in Animal Science with a minor in Plant and Soil Science, combining her passion for animals with her deep appreciation for the environment. Her dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of both animals and their human companions is evident in everything she does. Outside of work and her studies, Jordan enjoys spending quality time with her beloved black lab mix, Oscar, as well as making memories with her family and friends. Her drive, compassion, and dedication make her a valued member of our team and a bright future leader in the field of animal care and education.
Anthony
Anthony is a student at Conroe High School and is set to graduate in 2025. He joined Thomas Animal Clinic in August 2023 and has been a valued part of the team ever since. Each day, he eagerly welcomes clients and their pets, finding joy in meeting countless adorable animals and gaining hands-on experience in the veterinary field.
Life outside the clinic is anything but ordinary for Anthony. At home, he’s kept on his toes by Ivy, his spirited Calico cat. When he's not helping out at the clinic, Anthony channels his competitive spirit into local BBQ competitions, where he’s constantly perfecting his secret rib recipe. He also enjoys fishing, finding peace and relaxation by the water as he waits for the next big catch. Above all, Anthony treasures spending quality time with his family, making every moment count.

Cali
Cali is a student at College Park High School and is set to graduate in 2025. Her journey with Thomas Animal Clinic began as an intern in 2022, and her passion for animal care quickly led her to officially join the team in 2023 as a Level I Certified Veterinary Assistant (CVA). In 2024, she further expanded her knowledge by earning a “Fundamentals of Animal Science” certification through Elanco Animal Health Incorporated.
Cali has a deep love for wildlife, with a special interest in local bird species. Her career aspirations are rooted in wildlife biology and conservation, and she plans to pursue a university degree focused on wetland restoration and research. Her dedication to environmental stewardship and animal welfare is clear in both her academic goals and her work at the clinic.
Outside of work and school, Cali enjoys spending time with her beloved horse, Frankie, her two dogs—Gunner the Labrador and Coco the Shih Tzu—and her three cats: Piper, Snickers, and Kai. Whether she’s caring for pets or observing wildlife, Cali brings curiosity, compassion, and a strong work ethic to everything she does.
Aidan
Aidan began his journey with us as an intern in March 2021 and officially joined the Thomas Animal Clinic team in May of the same year. Originally from The Woodlands, Texas, he graduated from The Woodlands College Park High School in 2022 and is currently pursuing a degree in finance at Oklahoma State University. Despite his busy academic schedule, Aidan remains dedicated to his role at the clinic, where he brings a dependable and positive presence to the team.
Aidan is a passionate sports enthusiast who enjoys both playing and watching a variety of games. In his downtime, he also loves relaxing with friends and diving into his favorite video games. At home, he shares his life with his beloved golden retriever, River, and his cat, Kira, who bring plenty of joy and companionship to his day-to-day life.
With his strong work ethic, team spirit, and love for animals, Aidan continues to be a valued member of the TAC family.
Staff Support Team
Duchess
Duchess offers support by demanding treats, food, and frequent potty breaks. Her favorite pass time is eating the many different varieties of poop.
Tater Tot
You can find Tater Tot in the clinic with her face smushed up against a kennel door. She offers a wide variety of support to our staff members by being cute and perky.
Nathaniel
He’s the newest member of the team and provides support by being cute and eating treats. He is versitile in his abilities at the clinic and can perform his duties at any work station available.
