Brittney

Brittney, a dedicated member of our team, began her journey in veterinary medicine in 2016. Starting as a receptionist, her passion for animal care then led her to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinary technician in 2020. Her biggest interests are caring for exotics and assisting in surgeries. Alongside her work in a full-service clinic, Brittney proudly opened her own pet-sitting business, where she extends her love for animals beyond the clinic walls. 

Outside of work, Brittney enjoys unwinding by the pool, riding horses, and fishing in her spare time. Her household is a lively one, filled with the antics of three miniature Aussies—Stetson, River, and Haven—and a lovable pit bull named Tater Tot. She also shares her home with two pampered cats, Moochi and Venom, who keep her on her toes. With a full house of her own, Brittney understands the importance of compassionate care for pets. Whether it’s her own furry companions or yours, she is committed to providing the highest level of attention and affection.

Jennifer

Jennifer (Jenn) brings many years of dedicated experience in the veterinary field to our team, starting her journey as a receptionist in 2006 and advancing swiftly to become a skilled veterinary technician. Her passion lies particularly in surgical procedures, where her expertise shines brightly. Beyond her professional achievements, Jennifer's life revolves around her loved ones. She is a proud mother to two handsome sons, Johnie and Ashton, and finds immense joy in her role as a grandmother to Taylor and Maycee, who hold a special place in her heart. At home, Jennifer is accompanied by her cherished furbabies, Puddles and Hank, who bring joy and companionship to her days. Outside of her fulfilling career and family life, Jennifer embraces adventure. Whether it's getting muddy on a four-wheeler or enjoying sunny days at the beach, she thrives on active and memorable weekends.

Chris

Chris has been in the veterinary field since 2011. He has a special interest in surgery and assists the doctor during each one. Chris is married to his wife Veronica and has 2 children, Chris Jr. and Noel. While he doesn’t have any pets of his own, he appreciates our clinic family allowing him to spend time and care for their pets. Chris enjoys nature and spending time outside with his kids, and is a huge Marvel fan.

Victoria

Ever since Victoria was little she has wanted to work with animals and go into marine life or biology. In 2009 she enlisted in the US army deploying to kunar province, Afghanistan at Camp Blessing in 2010. She left the military in 2014 and decided to start my journey in veterinary medicine. In 2015 she started at the bottom as a kennel technician and eventually went to Lonestar College Tomball to the Veterinary Technician Program and graduated in 2019. Since graduating she has worked in different areas such as Dentistry, Surgery, Emergency, and General Practice. Her interests are Clinical Pathology, Patient Care and Client Education. Victoria’s favorite patients to work with are aggressive small breeds, brachycephalics, and avians.

She have been married for 14 years to her husband and has 3 boys who all play sports with special interest in baseball. Victoria spends most of her time playing baseball with her boys, exercising, and staying up to date on reality television. She has 1 dog (Heart), 1 cat (Sasha), a bearded dragon (Hermes), 3 aquariums, and 5 chickens.

Jessica

Jessica has been a dedicated veterinary technician since 2014, specializing in the care of animals. In 2017, she graduated from LSC-Tomball with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology. Her expertise includes working with exotics, with a particular passion for rabbits and birds. In addition to her career in veterinary medicine, Jessica is actively involved in her family-owned HVAC company. Her diverse professional background reflects her commitment to both animal care and business management. Jessica shares her home with Bonita, a beloved German Shepherd mix. Outside of work, she finds relaxation in watching her favorite shows and attending baile events.

Kristen

Kristen graduated from LSC-Tomball in 2021 with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology and became a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) the same year. Her experience spans caring for a wide variety of animals, including exotics, and working in intensive care units (ICU). Outside of her professional life, Kristen finds joy in gardening, reading, indulging in video games, and adding to her collection of rocks. She proudly nurtures her fur family, which includes Trigger, her dog, and Lucyfer, her cat.

Skyeleigh

Upon entering Thomas Animal Clinic, you will be greeted by the friendly face of Skyeleigh Ficklen. She is relatively new to the Conroe area after moving from the small coastal community of Port Lavaca, Texas. Since graduating Calhoun High School in 2011, she was a teacher in both public and private schools. She shares her passion for both children and animals. In December of 2019, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of Houston-Victoria.

Tech Assistant

 

Brooke

Brooke graduated from high school in 2022 and actively participated in FFA, basketball, and softball. Her lifelong passion for working with animals has led her to pursue her dream career. Currently enrolled at Lone Star College, she is working towards her Associate of Applied Science degree with a focus on becoming a Diagnostics Sonographer in the Veterinary field. Her fascination with surgeries fuels her ambition. Outside of academics, she enjoys crocheting, playing Minecraft, and exploring antique shops. She treasures spending time with her beloved cat, Chloe.

Jordan

Jordan began her journey with us as an intern in 2020, showcasing her dedication to veterinary care. Her commitment was underscored when she achieved her CVA level 1 certification in May 2021. Returning to our team in October 2021, she has since made significant strides in her academic pursuits, graduating from high school in Spring of 2021 and earning her associate's degree in science from Lone Star College in Fall of 2022. Currently a senior at Sam Houston State University, Jordan is passionate about her studies and animal science, paired with a teacher certification. Her enthusiasm for making a positive impact on the lives of both animals and their human counterparts is palpable. Outside of work and studies, Jordan treasures moments spent with her beloved black lab mix, Oscar, as well as cherishing quality time with her family and friends.

Anthony

Anthony is a student at Conroe High School graduating in 2025. His life is far from ordinary, especially with his lively Calico Cat, Ivy, who keeps him on his toes. When he’s not assisting at Thomas Animal Clinic, he’s passionate about competing in local BBQ competitions, and refining his secret rib recipe. Fishing is another cherished hobby, offering him moments of peace by the water as he waits for the next big catch. Above all, he cherishes spending quality time with his family. Since starting at The Animal Clinic in August 2023, he has eagerly welcomed countless adorable animals each day, making every moment truly rewarding!

Cali

Cali is a student at College Park High School and has lived in the Conroe area for over a decade. She originally began interning at Thomas Animal Clinic in 2022 and joined the TAC team in 2023 as a Level I Certified Veterinary Assistant (CVA). She also earned a “Fundamentals of Animal Science” certification from Elanco Animal Health Incorporated in 2024. She loves wildlife, especially local birds. Cali aims to attend university for wildlife biology/conservation, with the ultimate goal of becoming a researcher focused on wetland restoration. She enjoys spending time with her horse, Frankie, her dogs, a lab named Gunner and a shih tsu named Coco, and her three cats: Piper, Snickers, and Kai.

Cori

Cori started her journey with our team in 2022 as a receptionist and has since transitioned to a technician assistant role, driven by her ambition to attend tech school and become a licensed veterinary technician. Her passion for caring for kittens stands out among her favorite aspects of her work. Bringing a wealth of experience in animal behavior and dog training, Cori enriches our clinic with her specialized knowledge and dedication to animal welfare. Beyond her professional pursuits, Cori takes pride in her role as a mother to two children and caretaker of a diverse animal family, including three dogs, a tortoise, a horse, and a lively group of chickens. Outside of clinic hours, Cori values quality time with her loved ones, whether it's enjoying family outings fishing or indulging her passion for horseback riding.

Aidan

Aidan began his journey with us as an intern in March 2021, officially joining our team in May of the same year. Currently pursuing a major in finance at Oklahoma State University, he balances his academic pursuits with dedication to his role here at TAC. Originally from The Woodlands, Texas, Aidan graduated from The Woodlands College Park High School in 2022 before embarking on his collegiate path. Beyond his studies and work, Aidan is an avid sports enthusiast, enjoying both playing and watching various games. He also finds relaxation in spending time with friends and indulging in his passion for video games. At home, Aidan is accompanied by his beloved golden retriever, River, and his cat, Kira, who add joy to his daily life outside of his professional and academic endeavors.
